Prom Flowers 2010 Part II

We did a lot of funky flowers for prom, including these purple flowers to carry. One thing I have learned to ask is whether clients want "funky flowers" or "naturalistic flowers" There is a big difference and we don't want to disappoint, we want happy customers!

Sparkling purple rose boutonniere for him

Here is a more natural style, with bling mixed in. The dress was platinum gray.

Southern Illinois florist's prom flowers

The wrislets are not what they used to be! Now days, after prom, the flowers can be removed along with the flange attachment, and the wristlet becomes a fabulous bracelet. Florists are always looking for ways to offer added value to clients and arrangements that provide double-duty use!

Another beautiful wristlet bracelet! So fun!

Prom Flowers 2010 Part I

We were asked to do some cool and different prom flowers this year! We even hand-painted flowers to match a client's dress!

We added lots of bling and attached jewels to match the detailing on the waistband on this prom dress.

Prom boutonnieres for the guys. Fellas gotta have their bling too! Or at least tolerate it! Lol!

Yellow and black create dynamic contrast for this prom wrist corsage and the rhinestone accents add just the right amount of sparkle!

Leopard and hot pink prom flowers.
